In the past, I would look up, for example, an e24 part and then click on the part number in the right hand column and it would have listed all of the other model BMW's that part was also used on. If you kept clicking it would tell you the year, right down to the build date, of the car you could use for that part. Real handy for sourcing parts in the junk yard for the older cars (or broke college students).This function now stops at the model, with no information on the year (just like it's competitors), rendering the function useless, eliminating a significant advantage over it's competitors.There is now no longer any reason to recommend BMWfans over the other two sites, and I will have to change the recommendation page on 3 BMW sites to reflect the down grading of the BMWfans site. I'm sorry you felt it necessary to downgrade the site in this manor, or perhaps you didn't realize the function was no longer availabe with the new programing? Please post if you intend to fix the problem, so I can hold off on changing the recommendations.
